This policy explains what information Cambian Business Solutions (“Cambian,” “we”) collects through this website and through the internal business systems that connect to our accounting software, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
- Contact and quote forms. Your name, company, email address, subject, message, and any file you attach. Submissions are delivered to our team by email, through our email delivery provider, and kept in our business mailbox. The forms are not a channel for export-controlled (ITAR) technical data; we arrange a separate secure transfer for that.
- Live chat. The messages you type and, if you choose to share it, your email address. Your messages go to our team so we can reply, and we keep chat history as a business record.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics. We use privacy-focused analytics to understand how the site is used and how quickly its pages load. They record which pages are viewed, the referring site, approximate location (city level), and browser, operating system, and device type. They do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and they do not identify you personally.
- Cookies. The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The chat widget stores cookies in your browser so a conversation can continue as you move between pages and when you return. Our security providers may also set cookies that protect our services from automated abuse. You can clear cookies at any time in your browser settings; the chat then starts fresh.
- Technical information. Like any website, our hosting and network providers process technical information, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
How we use information
To answer your questions and quote requests, provide our services, improve the site, keep the site secure, and keep business records. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run the site and our communications on our behalf: website hosting, analytics, security, email delivery, and business communications. We also disclose information when the law requires it.
Our internal business systems
Cambian runs internal software for its own operations, including accounting software that connects to Cambian’s own account with its accounting service provider. That software reads and records Cambian’s business accounting information, such as accounts, vendors, and transactions, which can include the names of vendors and employees and the amounts paid to them. Only authorized Cambian personnel use it. The information stays in our own systems and with our accounting service provider, whose own privacy policy governs the data it holds. We do not sell it, and we disclose it only to our accountants or when the law requires it. This software is not offered to anyone outside Cambian; see our Internal Software Notice.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions, chat history, and accounting records for as long as we need them for business, legal, and tax purposes. Analytics are kept as aggregate statistics.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can browse the site without using the forms or the chat, and you can clear cookies at any time. You can also ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing outreach@cambiansolves.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, keeping any records the law requires us to keep.
Children
This site is intended for businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
