Standard tooling keeps parts affordable, and we'll flag up front when a feature drives cost or isn't machinable. We can machine parts from the model alone; prints and drawings are not required. See full guidelines & design considerations.
Materials we machine
Aluminum 6061-T6
Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and highly machinable. Our default for structural parts and prototypes that need strength-to-weight.
Most economical, fastest to machine
Stainless steels
Corrosion resistance and strength for parts that face harsh or wash-down environments.
Mid-range; tougher to cut than aluminum
Tool steels
Hardness and wear resistance for tooling, fixtures, and high-load components.
Higher material and machining cost
Titanium alloys
High strength-to-weight with excellent corrosion resistance for demanding, high-performance work.
Premium; slow to machine, higher tool wear
Relative cost reflects both material price and machining time. Final cost always depends on geometry, tolerances, and quantity.
On our floor
Inside the shop
Every part is machined in-house and held to the same standard, from first chip to final inspection.

The Cambian difference
Built to be reliable under pressure
Supply-chain instability begins at the process level: unmanaged variation, undocumented knowledge, and inconsistent execution. We address it structurally.
Structured, system-driven operations
Standardized internal systems promote repeatability, clarity, and accountability across every job.
Engineered process discipline
A controlled, measured machining environment that's continuously refined. Improvements are embedded into the system, not lost.
Scalable by design
Our framework transfers across machines, programs, and people without losing control. Growth doesn't mean variability.
